• Account information: name, email, hashed password and optional profile image
• Usage information: submitted URLs, audio duration, selected language and usage dates
• Payment information: handled by Stripe; we do not store credit card details
• Technical information: IP address for rate limiting, browser type and visited pages

2. How we use information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the transcription service
• Manage your account and subscription
• Track monthly minute usage
• Send transactional emails such as welcome, payment and limit notifications
• Improve service quality and detect errors

3. Sharing information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share data only with:

• Stripe: subscription payment processing
• OpenAI: audio transcription processing
• Resend: transactional email delivery
• Authorities: when required by law

4. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, traffic is sent over HTTPS and temporary audio files are deleted after processing.

5. Data retention

We keep personal data while your account is active. If your account is deleted, personal data and transcriptions are removed within 30 days unless legal requirements apply.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion or export of your personal data by contacting support.

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced in the product or by email.
